If youāve been itching to make a movie, I would highly encourage yāall to use this contest as an excuse to get out there and make a film!
And I say this becauseā¦I honestly think if I didnāt host this contest that I would even make a film myself.
Thatās what I love about this contest! I even use it as an excuse to force myself to do what I love, to work on my craft and make a movie.
We all make excuses as to why we canāt or donāt do the thing that we love or want to do. āIām too busy, oh the time isnāt right, ahhh I donāt have a big budget, I donāt have a nice enough camera, Iāll just do it next year, āthe list goes on and onā¦whatever the excuses are that we tell ourselves.
That being said, I would highly encourage you to do the same, and make a movie this year. I canāt wait to watch your films. The submissions never cease to blow me away year after year.

Like last year, Iām once again hosting a screening night of the top 10 films at one of my warehouse locations in Los Angeles. The screening is also a Halloween costume party with food, drinks, and concessions! Attending the screening does not increase or decrease your chances of winning, it is just a fun way to celebrate, watch, and award your movies! I will also be screening my new short film as well š
